About the Role
My client is a well-established recycling company is currently looking for reliable and hardworking Yard Operatives to join their team.
This is a hands-on role working within a busy recycling facility. You will be responsible for sorting recyclable materials, maintaining a safe working environment, and supporting the smooth running of daily yard operations.
The ideal candidate will be physically fit, dependable, and comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Sort and separate recyclable materials on the picking line.
Identify and remove non-recyclable materials.
Maintain a clean and organised working area.
Assist with general yard duties as required.
Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Work safely around machinery and site vehicles.
Support the team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Candidate Requirements
Previous experience in recycling, waste management, warehouse, manufacturing, or yard environments is desirable but not essential.
Good physical fitness and ability to carry out manual work.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
Must be able to drive
