Social Media Marketing Executive

Work with us Reporting to the Brand Marketing Manager, the Social Media Marketing Executive will be responsible for delivering a four-tiered social media offering, designed to assist our customers by improving their online presence through their own social media platforms and by implementing a strategy that showcases their business offering in a professional manner. You will play a pivotal role in advancing the services as you collaborate with external agencies, while also serving as a source of support for our sales teams and customers.

This a fixed term contract position to cover maternity, for 12 months, which potentially could extend to 14 months total. It is based upon 40hrs/week between Monday and Friday, which following a successful training and induction period will operate on a hybrid basis to include 3 days per week based onsite at our central offices in Letchworth. Travel to additional company UK locations or events will also feature as required by the business.

The Day to Day Social Media Service Management Understand the needs of our customers by offering them a service that is tailored to their requirements. Manage, monitor and develop our social media services as they evolve with the growing needs of our customer base, along with industry changes and trends. Provide an encouraging and supportive message when helping our customers with their social media presence.

Enhance the content we make available to our customer base through our social media services by creating regular on-brand content for our exclusive house-brands. Improve the content we make available to our customer base through our social media services by maintaining good relationships with the premium manufacturers and obtaining strong assets. Monitor industry, market trends, and competitor activity to refine our strategy.

Support with adhoc requests relating to social media and marketing from our customers. Communications Build and own the communications plan for our B2B strategy. Deliver monthly communications directly to our customer base which include still and video content, copy, relevant hashtags, and support documents. Position yourself as a social media expert by creating how-to guides that will enhance our customers' understanding of social media.

Collaborate closely with the sales department, our product teams, and external agencies to provide a service that is both valuable and visible. Budget Management Manage the budget for our social media services deliverables by focusing on planning, forecasting, and monitoring expenditures to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Data & Performance Analysis Maintain a creative yet analytical approach to delivering our social media services by producing reports and highlight key performance metrics monthly including engagement, reach, cost per click and conversion.

Events and Trade Shows Support the Brand Marketing Manager at campaign shoots, industry events, trade shows, and sponsorship activities. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with the sales team to gather market feedback to help shape the social media services. Provide on-going training sessions with our sales teams to further their knowledge in social media, with the aim of increasing sales within the business.

Liaise with external designers and suppliers to deliver the services required. Notify the Brand Marketing Manager of significant insights and discoveries upon delivering the social media service. Support the Social Media Marketing Manager with the development of top-level strategy (B2C and B2B).
