Civil Enforcement Officer

Salary: £26,321 – £28,364 (dependent on experience, pay award pending).

Responsibilities:

Patrol designated areas of North Hertfordshire to enforce parking restrictions and issue Penalty Charge Notices.

• Experience dealing with members of the public.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions with occasional evening and weekend hours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to operate basic IT equipment.
• Full driving licence (automatic acceptable) and willingness to drive a council vehicle.
• Knowledge of parking restrictions is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

Background checks:
Successful applicants will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.

Full time: 37 hours per week (4 days x 9.15 hours). Part time: 20 hours per week.
