Construction, Refurbishment & Fit-Out Main Contractor – North London & Home Counties

We are a fast-growing, well-respected refurbishment and fit-out main contractor based in Baldock, North Hertfordshire. We are expanding and now looking for skilled, motivated tradespeople to join our team on a long-term contract basis.

With a strong pipeline of projects across North London, the Home Counties and the A1 corridor up to Peterborough, this is a fantastic opportunity for tradespeople looking for regular work, excellent rates and variety - not stop-start jobs.

You’ll be working on a diverse and interesting range of projects, from high-end commercial fit-outs to education, leisure and hospitality, heritage refurbishments and new-build schemes.

We require Multi Trade Operatives, Partitioners, Carpenters, Ceiling Fixers, and General Builders. All the contractors that work for us must always be polite and professional as we work in many public environments. We expect that everyone will be clean and presentable and can communicate effectively with other team members on site and with management.

We are looking for contractors to undertake work on many of our projects and at present we are looking for:

Fully Skilled Multi Trade Operative - To undertake all types of internal and external commercial refurbishment.
Partitioners - Must understand all types of metal stud and track and traditional timber stud. Knowledge of different types of systems will be an advantage (Komfort, Tenon etc).
Carpenters - Mostly 2nd fix work although some 1st fix is required. All our installations are undertaken to a very high standard.
Ceiling Fixers - Must have knowledge of all types of ceilings (Suspended grid, MF, Burgess etc).
General Builders/Multi Trade - Groundworks including drainage and concrete, brickwork, structural alterations.
Decorator - Must have experience in all aspects of commercial decorating.
Multi skilled Tradesperson - That can undertake all aspects of internal refurbishment. From carpentry, ceiling fixing, partitioning through to floor laying.

All contracts are long term. We are looking for individuals who can blend into our current team and who are looking for regular contract work.

Most of our work is given on a price work basis, but an agreed day rate will also apply. Vans can be supplied to the right applicants (depending on availability).
