The Accounting Clerk provides front-line customer service and accurate financial processing for students and staff. This role is responsible for posting tuition payments, processing departmental remittances, and ensuring transactions are handled accurately, promptly, and professionally. The position plays a key role in maintaining financial integrity while delivering exceptional service to a diverse, high‑volume customer base.
The Accounting Clerk assists students and staff in person, over the phone, and via email, helping them understand tuition and fee assessments, payment posting, and deadlines. They process cash remittances and invoice payments, balance daily transactions, prepare bank deposits, and promptly resolve discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy.
This is a fast‑paced, customer‑facing position with increased workload during fee deadlines. The Accounting Clerk will work as part of a collaborative team dedicated to accuracy, service, and student success.

Position Qualifications
This role requires strong administrative and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support month‑end and year‑end financial processes. Candidates should have post‑secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience—with strong numerical accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems. Experience handling cash, working in a customer service or educational environment, and familiarity with tuition or fee structures are considered assets.
