Overview
Our client, a respected and growing construction company based in Lethbridge, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial construction projects across Southern Alberta. Monday through Friday, daytime hours
Position Summary- Manage commercial and industrial construction projects from pre-construction through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues impacting scope, budget, or schedule
- Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, and field teams
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, regulations, and company expectations
- Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates to leadership and clients
- Support procurement, change orders, cost tracking, and forecasting activities
- Foster strong working relationships across all project stakeholders
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience managing large commercial or industrial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and scheduling
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience working with subcontractors, budgets, contracts, and project documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstract and ability to travel to project sites as required
- PMP designation or formal project management training
- Experience with estimating, procurement, or pre-construction planning
- Journeyman Carpenter or Ironworker
- Strong knowledge of local construction markets and subcontractor networks
