Weston Manufacturing Ltd. is one of Southern Alberta's leading structural steel contractors, delivering commercial, industrial, and agricultural construction projects across Western Canada.

As our company continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction to join our team. This is an opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys leading complex projects while helping develop people and improve project execution across an organization.

You'll oversee some of our largest structural steel projects while working closely with owners, General Contractors, consultants, engineers, and our internal fabrication and field teams. While structural steel experience is considered an asset, we're primarily looking for an exceptional commercial construction leader who understands how successful projects are planned, executed, and delivered.

• Lead multiple complex commercial construction projects from award through completion
• Develop project execution strategies for high-value projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, General Contractors, consultants, and project partners
• Review contracts, specifications, schedules, and project risks
• Lead project planning, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and execution
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, shop drawings, and contract administration
• Monitor project financial performance and proactively manage risks
• Coordinate closely with detailing, fabrication, purchasing, logistics, and field installation teams
• Attend client meetings, site meetings, and progress reviews
• Mentor and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators
• Help improve project management systems, communication, and best practices

• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial or industrial construction
• Proven experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience working directly with General Contractors, owners, consultants, and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of commercial construction contracts and project delivery methods
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence

• Competitive salary of $120,000–$170,000 based on experience
