As a Reporter for Southern Alberta Newspapers in Lethbridge, you'll uncover stories that matter. This role involves writing for both print and digital media while covering local politics.

The successful candidate will be a driven reporter able to research and write stories that delve into civic matters and political events affecting Lethbridge. Your writing will engage readers across both daily print editions and online platforms, and your pagination skills will help bring a professional touch through InDesign.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and write articles for the newspaper and website

• Research civic and political developments thoroughly

• Conduct interviews to provide depth to stories

• Use InDesign for effective pagination and layout

• Collaborate with the newsroom team for content enhancements

Requirements:

• Editing skills and experience in layout design

• Proficient in InDesign for pagination tasks

• Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle

• Strong research and interviewing skills

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and journalistic integrity
