Galt Museum Seasonal Attendant

Become part of the Galt Museum & Archives as a Seasonal Museum Attendant, where you'll facilitate visitor experiences, assist with events, and share knowledge through guiding tours until September.

This position offers an exciting opportunity for casual work at the Galt Museum, lasting about 16 weeks, with weekends available after September 11. Attendants will interpret exhibitions, respond to visitor questions, and support educational programs. This role is perfect for those with a passion for history and excellent interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide visitors through exhibits and interpretive spaces

• Manage public inquiries and provide assistance

• Support facility rental event executions

• Conduct light gardening and cooking tasks

• Maintain cleanliness through janitorial duties

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Post-secondary education or experience preferred

• Retail experience with POS systems is a plus

• Current First Aid and CPR Certification needed

• Completion of a criminal records check required
