Temporary Full-Time Summer School English/CALM Teacher

Livingstone Range School Division, located in Southwestern Alberta is seeking to hire the very best teachers in Alberta! • Knowledge and experience in incorporating literacy skills across the curriculum;
• Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team;
• A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe, caring and welcoming online learning environment;
• A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use of report cards;
• Strong organizational and understanding of online classroom pedagogy;
• In depth knowledge of and experience with current outcomes based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments in an online learning environment;
• An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic, behavioral, emotional and/or curricular needs within the online classroom setting in a rural context;
• Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same;

Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position will be a hybrid of 1 day a week working at Crossroads School in Fort Macleod and four days of teaching from home. The contract will be from June 29 to July 31, 2026.
