The Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Lethbridge invites applications from internationally-based, world-leading researchers for the prestigious Canada Impact+ Research Chair in Environmental Public Health.

The Canada Impact+ Research Chair program is a one-time Government of Canada initiative to attract leading researchers to Canadian universities to advance ambitious and transformative projects in Canada’s strategic priority areas. Impact+ emphasizes translation and real-world impact:
Chair holders are expected to drive discoveries into applications and advance commercialization and social and economic benefits for Canada and the world, while also developing the next generation of highly qualified personnel. Impact+ Chair holders are appointed for 8 years, with the possibility of a four-year partially-funded extension, with award values of either $4 million or $8 million.

We seek a visionary scholar whose work addresses environmental public health challenges and opportunities in natural and built environments. This position is part of the University’s strategic priority to expand its leadership in place-based, interdisciplinary health research.
