Position: Instructor for Powerline Apprenticeship Program
Shape the future of powerline professionals at Lethbridge Polytechnic. This Term Certain Instructor role combines teaching with developing practical skills for student success in a collaborative setting.

At Lethbridge Polytechnic, we are looking for an Instructor for the Powerline Apprenticeship program. You will facilitate learning and ensure that students are well-prepared through comprehensive course material and effective monitoring of their progress. Engaging with prospective students and working closely with industry partners will be key to promoting the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct various essential program components

• Continuously develop and revise course content

• Monitor student progress and provide interventions

• Respond to inquiries via multiple communication channels

• Facilitate recruitment efforts and promote the program

Requirements:

• Must be a Journeyman Red Seal Powerline Technician with at least 5 years of experience

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer skills

• Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Independent and team-oriented work capability
