Temporary Math and Science Teacher

Join Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School as a temporary Math and Science Teacher for grades 7 and 8. This role is focused on student engagement and differentiated instruction.

As a Math and Science Teacher, you will enhance learning for approximately 610 students in Lethbridge. Your responsibilities include designing engaging and effective lessons, assessing student performance, and applying classroom management strategies. Your participation in professional learning and collaboration with colleagues will be vital for student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging lessons in Math and Science

• Support diverse learning needs with tailored instruction

• Maintain assessment standards per Alberta curriculum

Requirements:

• Current or eligible Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Background in Math and/or Science preferable

• Experience in math intervention is advantageous
