Sheet Metal Instructor Polytechnic

Become a key player at Lethbridge Polytechnic as a full-time Sheet Metal Instructor for the  term. This role focuses on delivering engaging theoretical and hands-on instruction in sheet metal programs.

The Centre for Trades and Technologies is seeking an organized instructor to lead the development of a new program starting in Fall 2027. You will provide essential instruction, manage class schedules, track student progress, and maintain curriculum using Lethbridge Polytechnic's resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver instruction across various program portions

• Manage class schedules and track student progress

• Promote program and assist in student recruitment

• Utilize Canvas and Mobius for teaching and assessments

• Maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Alberta Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker Certification

• Minimum five years’ experience in sheet metal

• Strong diagnostics and computer skills

• Self-motivated with team collaboration skills

• Previous teaching experience is an asset
