Empower students at D.A. Ferguson Middle School in Taber as a Regular Educational Assistant. This role focuses on student support, personal care, and fostering positive interactions.

Horizon School Division is seeking two dedicated Educational Assistants, working around 28 hours per week. You will assist students in grades 6-8, ensuring a supportive environment that values wellness and engagement. Key responsibilities include providing personal care, ensuring student safety, and maintaining confidentiality while working alongside the learning team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage positive student interactions and behavior

• Provide essential personal care and support as needed

• Supervise students to ensure their safety at all times

• Maintain equipment cleanliness and help students with life skills

• Build rapport and collegial relationships with the learning team

Requirements:

• Interest in supporting students in grades 6 to 8

• Patience and a positive attitude towards student engagement
