Position: Industrial Mechanic Instructor Needed
Become an Industrial Mechanic Instructor at Lethbridge Polytechnic, delivering hands-on and theoretical training for the  academic year. This full-time temporary role allows you to inspire future mechanics while developing the program curriculum.

The Centre for Trades and Technologies seeks a motivated instructor for its Industrial Mechanic programs. You will create engaging lesson plans, track student progress, and facilitate student recruitment actively. This position supports your professional growth in an academic environment while nurturing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop curriculum for the new Industrial Mechanic program

• Instruct lectures, labs, and dual credit courses

• Promote the program and recruit students effectively

• Track student progress and implement necessary interventions

• Maintain learning management systems and develop course content

Requirements:

• Alberta Journeyman Industrial Mechanic Certification

• Minimum five years’ experience in industrial mechanics

• Proficient with word processing and spreadsheets

• Self-motivated, with a collaborative outlook

• Previous teaching experience is preferred
