Student Education Lead at Alberta Precision Laboratories

Alberta Precision Laboratories is hiring a Student Education Lead to spearhead the Student Education Program across Alberta. This role involves oversight of practicum education for various technologists in a collaborative environment.
As a key educational leader, you will coordinate practicum experiences and develop frameworks for effective student placement training. Required skills include strong organizational abilities, negotiation, and conflict resolution. Your leadership will support staff, students, and external stakeholders, ensuring a high-quality educational experience aligned with accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee practicum programs for Medical Laboratory Technologists

• Develop and implement compliant education delivery frameworks

• Collaborate with post-secondary institutions for effective training

• Lead projects related to student education initiatives

• Manage coordination for student placements across Alberta
Requirements:

• MLT program completion with CMLTA registration

• Minimum five years of clinical laboratory experience

• At least two years in a supervisory role preferred

• Certificates in Process Improvement or Change Management beneficial

• Strong problem-solving and team building skills
Excel in leading educational initiatives within the dynamic APL environment.
