Become an Educational Assistant at F.P. Walshe School in Fort Macleod, Alberta. Provide personalized and small group support to help students achieve their academic goals in a caring environment.

F.P. Walshe School is seeking two dedicated Full-Time Educational Assistants starting August 25, 2026. Ideal candidates will have experience working with diverse learners one-on-one and in inclusive classrooms. Responsibilities include implementing strategies from Individual Student Plans (ISPs) and collaborating with the Learning Support Teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students individually and in small groups

• Implement strategies from individual learning plans

• Collaborate with the Learning Support Team

• Build relationships with students requiring patience

• Assist in a culturally sensitive environment with First Nations

Requirements:

• Experience in inclusive classroom settings

• Educational Assistant certification preferred

• Knowledge of Autism and complex behavior support

• Physically fit for demands of the role

• NVCI or SIVA training preferred
