Position: Instructor for Sheet Metal Programs Polytechnic
Join Lethbridge Polytechnic as a full-time Instructor for Sheet Metal programs from August 2026 to June 2027. Engage students through rich theoretical and hands-on learning experiences.

The successful candidate will lead the newly developed sheet metal program set to commence in Fall 2027. Responsibilities include promoting the program, managing schedules, and tracking student performance. Effective use of Canvas and Mobius systems for curriculum updates and assessments will be essential to your role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruct students in theoretical and practical aspects of sheet metal

• Handle program development and curriculum maintenance

• Respond to inquiries from students and staff

• Purchase materials and equipment as necessary

• Provide progress reports to the Associate Dean

Requirements:

• Alberta Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker Certification

• Five years’ experience in the trade

• Competence with computer applications

• Ability to work positively within a team

• Teaching experience is a plus
