Starting on August 27, 2026, Lethbridge School Division is looking for a compassionate Educational Assistant. This position involves working alongside students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 facing behavioral and developmental challenges.

Experience with trauma-informed practices and strategies to bolster self-regulation will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of individualized programs

• Ensure student safety during all activities

• Monitor the effectiveness of educational strategies

• Foster trust and rapport with students and staff

• Participate in community activities as required

Requirements:

• Background in working with children with severe behavior issues

• Understanding of early literacy and speech acquisition

• Training in Positive Behaviour Support Plans is an asset

• Ability to provide personal care and mobility assistance

• Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills
