Join Lethbridge Polytechnic as a Term Certain Instructor, delivering an engaging Powerline Apprenticeship program. Leverage your qualifications and training expertise to enhance student learning outcomes.
This role requires you to instruct pivotal parts of the Powerline program while developing and refining course content. You will manage schedules, track student progress, and actively engage in recruitment efforts. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders will also be essential for program success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach essential portions of the Powerline curriculum
• Update and maintain relevant course materials
• Track student progress and provide necessary interventions
• Handle inquiries via various communication methods
• Foster partnerships with program stakeholders
Requirements:
• Journeyman Red Seal Powerline Technician with at least 5 years’ experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong IT skills
• Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
• Strong organizational and relationship-building skills
• Capable of independent and team-based work
