Refrigeration Instructor

Position: Full-time Refrigeration Instructor
Join Lethbridge Polytechnic as a full-time instructor, teaching Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanics. This 1.0 FTE position is temporary, running from August 2026 through June 2027.

The ideal candidate will drive the development and instruction of a new program, offering theoretical and practical knowledge to students in a supportive learning environment. As an instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the curriculum and enhancing student recruitment strategies while managing assessments and progress tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver theoretical and hands-on instruction across various subjects

• Promote the program to attract and retain students

• Ensure ongoing curriculum maintenance and updates

• Utilize Canvas learning management and Mobius assessments

• Communicate effectively with students and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification

• At least five years of industry-related experience

• Computer literate with experience in MS Office

• Strong self-motivation and teamwork capability

• Teaching experience is an asset
