Position: Lead for Student Education Program in Alberta
Take the helm as the Student Education Lead at Alberta Precision Laboratories, guiding the evolution of educational practices statewide. Engage with multiple site teams to enhance practicum programs for laboratory technologists.

This pivotal role requires a decisive leader skilled in collaboration and relationship building. You will be responsible for enhancing educational standards and ensuring compliance with both accreditation and organizational policies. Your expertise will help cultivate a supportive atmosphere for students and educators alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance practicum experiences across Alberta’s laboratories

• Collaborate with educational institutions on student training

• Develop frameworks consistent with regulatory standards

• Execute projects related to the Student Education Program

• Coordinate student placements and support staff development

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program

• At least five years of relevant laboratory experience

• Experience in a supervisory capacity preferred

• Knowledge of adult education principles beneficial

• Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
