Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant Role

Support student growth as a Full-Time Educational Assistant at RI Baker Middle School. This position focuses on providing care and educational support for children with complex medical needs.

The Palliser School Division seeks a dedicated Educational Assistant starting on August 21, 2026. This role is integral to the educational experience of students, ensuring their safety, personal care, and tailored instruction. Candidates must have a relevant post-secondary certificate, CPR/First Aid certification, and experience with students having specialized needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic care for children with complex medical needs

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for Individual Program Plans

• Support educational instruction and technology access

• Facilitate positive student interactions and self-esteem development

• Maintain student safety in various settings

Requirements:

• Post-secondary certificate in child care or healthcare

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificates

• Experience working with students with special needs

• Successful Criminal Reference Check

• Strong communication and collegial skills
