Reporting to the Buchanan Library Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with faculty and institutional partners to enhance the research and teaching capabilities within the Polytechnic. Your expertise will empower the academic community by implementing effective research technologies, including guidance on AI applications. You will be instrumental in developing workshops and support systems to promote open scholarship and responsible dissemination of academic research.
Responsibilities- Provide advanced research consultations to faculty
- Deliver workshops on scholarly communication and data management
- Assist in evidence-informed program development
- Collaborate with IT on research data solutions
- Maintain current knowledge of RDM policies and standards
- Minimum of two years in a library or academic role
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience with scholarly publishing processes
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities
- Commitment to diversity and ethical practices in research
