Become a temporary teacher with Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge. This 0.5 FTE role focuses on collaborative teaching and supports diverse student learning needs.

The school is seeking a temporary teacher for the Complexity Team, starting August 25, 2026, through June 30, 2027. The position may increase to a full-time role, requiring strong engagement with students, colleagues, and families. Ideal candidates will advocate for students and employ effective classroom management techniques in an IB Primary Years Programme environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with another Complexity Team teacher

• Lead small-group instruction to enhance learning

• Provide one-on-one interventions for diverse needs

• Foster positive behaviors through classroom management

• Build connections with parents and the school community

Requirements:

• Certified to teach in Alberta

• Strong advocacy for student learning success

• Commitment to a Christ-centered environment

• Understanding of IB PYP or inquiry-based learning

• Willingness to learn, reflect, and grow
