We are hiring two Education Assistants for a 28-hour work week from August 25, 2026, to June 25, 2027. Successful candidates will assist students with unique sensory requirements and personal care tasks, offering support under the supervision of the Inclusive Education Lead, classroom teacher, and principal. This role demands physical stamina, strict confidentiality, and a commitment to a team approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with learning and personal care tasks

• Work closely with teachers and supervisors for individualized support

• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information

• Implement training for students with complex needs

• Collaborate with team members and participate in training

Requirements:

• Education Assistant Certificate or equivalent

• One year experience with special needs students

• First Aid certification required

• Training in augmentative communication systems

• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
