Subjects

Lethbridge School Division is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Complexity Classroom Teacher to join Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School. This role is focused on supporting students with diverse and complex learning needs within inclusive school environments. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers, learning support staff, and administration to ensure all students are provided with meaningful, responsive, and individualized learning opportunities.

The successful candidate will:

Have previous experience working with students with complex learning needs (preferred);

Possess a strong understanding of inclusive education, differentiation, and responsive teaching practices;

Work collaboratively with teachers and learning support staff to implement targeted interventions and strategies;

Be skilled in supporting students with behavioural and self-regulation needs;

Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills;

Be flexible, reflective, and solution-focused mindset;

Support students with cognitive, developmental, social, academic, and behavioural challenges;

Use trauma-informed, strength-based practices to support student growth and well-being;
