Position: Middle School Teacher for English and Social Studies
G.S Lakie Middle School is seeking an English Language Arts and Social Studies Teacher for Grade
8. This temporary full-time role starts August 25, 2026, and emphasizes innovative teaching and collaboration with students.

The successful candidate will possess a strong educational background in English Language Arts, Social Studies, and Physical Education. Experience in Middle School teaching is preferred as the role requires engaging lesson plans and a commitment to differentiated learning. Building genuine relationships with students and families is essential for success in this collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons for English, Social Studies, and PE

Requirements:

• Hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
