St. Paul School Early Learning Assistant

Contribute to early childhood education l School in Lethbridge as an Early Learning Education Assistant. Support children's growth through targeted interventions and a nurturing environment.

The role is part-time (14 hours per week, AM) starting September 8, 2026, and ending June 10, 2027. Candidates must have one year of experience in child programs, particularly with special needs children. The position requires obtaining Hanen Learning Language and Loving It Certification along with First Aid Training, ensuring safe and effective support in daily learning activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement positive behavior interventions for children

• Provide guidance for sound production as directed

• Match learning activities to children’s abilities

• Assist with essential daily living skills

• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary approach

Requirements:

• Experience in childhood education settings

• Certification motivation for Hanen program

• Must have or obtain First Aid certification

• Active engagement in children’s learning environment

• Readiness to follow professional guidance
