Lethbridge Teacher in IB PYP Framework

Join Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge as a temporary teacher. Focus on student engagement with a collaborative teaching approach, starting at 0.5 FTE.

We are looking for a driven teacher for a temporary assignment from August 25, 2026, to June 30, 2027. You will work within the Complexity Team to support student learning through collaboration and targeted interventions. This role emphasizes inclusion and effective classroom management, making connections within a Christ-centered school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Complexity Team teachers

• Implement small-group instruction techniques

• Offer personalized support through one-on-one interventions

• Manage classroom behaviors positively

• Strengthen community ties with parents and colleagues

Requirements:

• Alberta teaching certification needed

• Advocacy for youth and their learning

• Experience or willingness in IB PYP environments

• Strong sense of inclusion within the classroom

• Growth mindset and reflective practices encouraged
