Regular Colony Educational Assistant – approx. 21 hours/week

Location:

Evergreen Colony School located south of the town of Taber (from Taber, 19 km south on highway 36, 16 km east on township road 8-0, 2 km south on range road 152).

Hours of work:
Tuesday – Thursday 8:50 a.m. – 3:35 p.m.;
Friday 8:50 a.m. – 11:55 a.m.

The position commences August 27, 2026. The school day starts at 8:50 and ends at 3:35 on Tuesday to Thursday.

• Ready to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs.
• Maintain a positive attitude about children, learning and schools.
• Play a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher.
• Work well independently, with the teacher, and with the school learning team.
• Provide support to students on a 1:1 basis or with small group instruction.
• Support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition (early literacy and numeracy skills).
