Education Assistant Position Coaldale

Support students eph School as an Education Assistant in Coaldale. This role focuses on aiding children's learning needs in a supportive team environment.

We are looking for two temporary Education Assistants for 28 hours per week, starting August 25, 2026. Candidates will assist children facing unique challenges, including complex sensory needs and personal care support under the guidance of the educational team. The position requires maintaining confidentiality and meeting physical demands while collaborating effectively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs

• Assist teachers by following daily and program supervisor instructions

• Ensure confidential handling of school-related information

• Facilitate learning through teamwork and shared responsibility

• Engage in training sessions for skill development

Requirements:

• Education Assistant Certificate or relevant diploma required

• Minimum one-year experience with special programming needs

• First Aid training mandatory

• Experience with augmentative communication preferred

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
