Part-Time Early Learning Education Assistant

Position: Part-Time Early Learning Education Assistant Role
Join Our Lady of the Assumption School in Lethbridge as a part-time Early Learning Education Assistant. Support children’s growth and learning in a nurturing educational environment.

This 14-hour per week assistant role commences September 8, 2026. Candidates should have one year of experience in childhood programs and an understanding of positive behavior strategies. You will work closely with speech language professionals to enhance children’s communication and developmental skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow cues for sound production to aid development

• Model appropriate activities tailored to children’s needs

• Assist children with daily living skills, including toileting

• Foster active participation in classroom settings

• Work collaboratively with a team for comprehensive support

Requirements:

• Certification in Hanen Learning Language and Loving It

• Experience with special needs and childhood education

• First Aid Training (can be obtained)

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Capability to engage physically in a vibrant learning space
