Temporary Educational Assistant at Shadow Ranch

Make a difference as a Temporary Educational Assistant at Shadow Ranch Colony School. This role is focused on providing essential support to students and fostering their development.

The contract runs from August 21, 2026, to June 30, 2027, with 1000 annual hours of dedicated service. Candidates must have a recognized educational background in child care or behaviour management with direct experience in supporting special needs students. You will work as part of a team to develop Individual Program Plans and ensure the safety and inclusivity of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored educational instruction to students

• Assist in developing Individual Program Plans

• Support effective collaboration among team members

• Keep parents informed about student progress

• Promote students' self-esteem and social skills

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized post-secondary certificate

• Relevant experience with special needs students

• Current First Aid and CPR certifications

• Successful Criminal Reference Check

• Strong interpersonal skills and patience
