The college seeks three passionate educators for the upcoming academic year to teach Grades 10-12 courses in both the Standoff Main Campus and Satellite Campus. Teachers will guide adult learners, develop appropriate lesson and assessment materials, and utilize online platforms. Emphasizing culturally responsive teaching, collaboration with local elders, and maintaining a supportive classroom atmosphere is critical.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured high school education in an adult setting

• Create and execute detailed lesson and unit plans

• Maintain thorough records of student attendance and performance

• Enrich lessons with Niitsitapi culture and teachings

• Offer individualized support and encouragement to learners

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Education and valid Alberta certification

• Teaching experience with adults is preferred

• Understanding of Blackfoot culture and language is beneficial

• Commitment to participate in extracurricular college events

• Trustworthiness and commitment to confidentiality
