This teaching role emphasizes collaboration, incorporating early learning, literacy, and numeracy skills to support diverse students. You'll engage with both school communities, promoting an inclusive and caring environment. The position runs from August 25, 2026, to June 29, 2027, with alternating weeks between Stavely and Nanton.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create programs fostering curiosity and problem-solving

• Teach balanced literacy and integrate numeracy skills

• Build community relationships and celebrate culture

• Ensure support for diverse learners in the classroom

• Maintain effective classroom management and organization

Requirements:

• Hold or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate

• Evidence of commitment to professional growth and TQS

• Knowledge of outcomes-based assessment practices

• Strong skills in classroom management

• Reflective practitioner dedicated to student success
