The University of Lethbridge is seeking qualified individuals for Sessional Lecturer roles across various programs, including Professional Semesters and electives. Candidates can leverage their expertise in areas like curriculum, educational psychology, and Indigenous education. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising teacher candidates, with travel required within Southern Alberta for practicum placements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Education 2500 and elective courses in multiple semesters

• Supervise practicum students during Professional Semesters

• Travel to local schools for supervision as needed

• Provide mentorship and curriculum expertise to student teachers

• Engage in professional development activities related to teacher education

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and Professional Teaching Certification

• Expertise in K-12 curriculum and teaching methods

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Previous experience as teacher associate or mentor desirable

• Interest in teacher professional development
