Position Information

Position:
University Library – Sessional Lecturer

Campus:
Lethbridge or Calgary

The Library invites applications for prospective Sessional Lecturer employment. The successful candidate will teach Library Sciences courses, which may be in‑person, online, or blended, offered at either campus.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver course content for Library Sciences courses.
  • Assess student learning and provide academic feedback.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of library and information science practice and research.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and reviews as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum:
    Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) or equivalent.
  • Evidence of teaching experience or capability.
  • Strong communication skills and commitment to student learning.
