Red Crow Community College is seeking a dedicated Adult Upgrading Teacher for the  academic year. The role focuses on instructing high school-level courses and encompasses curriculum development that honors Niitsitapi history and culture. Successful candidates will also need to utilize online learning platforms effectively and maintain transparent records for students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver structured lessons based on Alberta’s Program of Study

• Maintain accurate grades, attendance, and student documentation

• Collaborate with the Adult Education team and implement culturally relevant practices

• Provide individualized support to students in both group and one-on-one settings

• Complete extra-curricular responsibilities related to college events

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education with Alberta teaching certification

• Experience in adult education settings, especially for First Nations

• Knowledge of Blackfoot language and culture is an asset

• Dependable and trustworthy in maintaining confidentiality

• Ability to work within a quarter system of course delivery
