Position: Faculty of Arts & Science - Assistant Teaching Professor (Psychology)

Position Details

The at the University of Lethbridge invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor. We are seeking a colleague qualified to teach entry-level classes in psychology, covering both the biological and social aspects of the discipline, an introductory class on the history of the field, research methods, and key academic skills. In addition, interest in, or experience teaching any of the following senior undergraduate classes on (1) personality, (2) hormones and behaviour, and (3) emotions and motivation would be a bonus.

The successful candidate must hold a Ph.D., at least one graduate degree in Psychology, and the capability to engage and inspire undergraduate and graduate students in their academic work. The expected start date of the appointment is July 1, 2027, subject to budgetary approval. Hiring salary will be in the range of $73,159 to $84,700 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
