Library Clerk at St. Patrick School

Become a key support rick Fine Arts School in Lethbridge as a Library Clerk, working 15 hours per week. Assist students and teachers in utilizing library resources while supervising library activities.

This temporary position is open to all applicants and is governed by the CUPE 1825 Support Staff agreement. You'll handle processing new resources and guiding users within the library environment. Effective teamwork with faculty and student engagement is essential, ensuring confidentiality and fostering a positive learning space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process new library materials for use

• Assist students and teachers with library resources

• Supervise students conducting activities in the library

• Collaborate with the principal on assigned tasks

• Maintain confidentiality to support student welfare

Requirements:

• Two years' library experience, including work with students

• Knowledge of library software and applications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to manage behavior to support learning
