Help shape student success as a Casual Education Assistant at Division Schools! Collaborate in a supportive, inclusive environment to cater to diverse educational needs.
We welcome applications for Casual Education Assistant positions at our Division Schools. Under CUPE 1825, these roles involve providing targeted assistance to students with specific needs, under the guidance of educators. Emphasis on confidentiality and teamwork is vital in upholding our supportive learning framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist students in educational activities
• Collaborate with teachers and inclusive education liaisons
• Ensure the confidentiality of student data
• Engage positively within the educational team
• Execute tasks assigned by education supervisors
Requirements:
• Certified Education Assistant or similar qualification
• At least one year’s experience with special needs students
• Certification in First Aid
• SIVA Certification is advantageous
• Excellent interpersonal skills
