Temporary Early Learning Assistant

Support early childhood education as a Temporary Early Learning Assistant l School in Lethbridge. This role focuses on enhancing children's learning through support and engagement in daily activities.

A temporary, part-time position (14 hours weekly) is available l School, effective immediately until June 10, 2027. Candidates must possess relevant experience working with children or those with special needs.

Your role will involve behavioral support, assistance with daily living skills, and collaboration within a professional team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cues for sound production as needed

• Offer assistance with daily living skills, such as toileting

• Model and match activities to children's functioning levels

• Collaborate within a trans-disciplinary team framework

• Participate actively in the ECS learning environment

Requirements:

• Hanen Learning Language certification preferred

• Minimum one year of relevant experience required

• Willingness to obtain First Aid certification

• Ability to follow direction from team members

• Physical capability to engage in early childhood activities
