Position: Full Time Child and Youth Care Worker

We are seeking a dedicated Child and Youth Care Worker to provide one-on-one and small group assistance. This role is essential for fostering a student-centered environment, where all learners can achieve their best. You will work closely with the Complexity Team Teacher, administration, and learning support teams to address the individual needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized support according to student learning plans

• Collaborate with the Complexity Team and school administration

• Assist students in both one-on-one and small group settings

• Implement strategies for students with varying diagnoses

• Promote sensory regulation techniques for students

Requirements:

• Experience or desire to work in inclusive school settings

• Certification as Child and Youth Care Worker

• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse students

• Training in NVCI and/or SIVA preferred

• Experience with First Nations cultures
