Colony Educational Assistant - Regular Approx

Armada Colony School is located close to the village of Lomond (from Lomond, 8 km west on highway 531, 2.3 km north on range road 210).

Colony Educational Assistant – approx. 27 hours/week

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday - 8:50 am to 3:30 pm, and Friday, 8:50 am to 12:00 pm

• be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs
• have a positive attitude about children, learning and schools
• have a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher
• have a willingness to learn from, and with, the school team
• be responsive to feedback from the school team
• be able to work with students in small groups or 1:1
• be able to work well independently and with the school staff
• support English Language Learners in language acquisition
