Pipeline Operators

Our client, a major oil and gas transportation company, is currently seeking Pipeline Operators to join their busy Operations team to work on projects all over Alberta.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Pipeline isolations and lockout/tagout activities

• Pipeline depressurization and controlled gas release operations

• Flaring, venting, purging, and incineration activities

• Valve verification and isolation verification

• Gas monitoring and atmospheric testing

• Commissioning and decommissioning support

• Job procedure reviews and hazard assessment participation

• Kick-off meetings and field execution planning

• Gas release documentation and reporting

• Pipeline signage installation and verification

• Field documentation and operational compliance verification

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Production Field/Pipeline Operator

• 5 years previous related oil, industrial or pipeline experience

• Must have valid safety tickets (H2S, First Aid)

• A disciplined work ethic and ability to take initiative

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Capable of working in both a team and individual environment

• Valid class 5 license (NO GDL)

• Capable of passing pre-hire Drug and Alcohol screening.
