Power Engineer 2nd class

Power Engineer 2nd class experience for the past 25 years as shift engineer, Chief Engineer in a first class Power Plant.

This is a full-time employment opportunity for a Power Engineer 2nd Class, an on-site position located in Coaldale, AB. The role involves overseeing, maintaining, and operating power systems and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring power generation systems, assessing electrical components, performing inspections, troubleshooting issues, and adhering to safety and compliance standards. The candidate will also collaborate with a team to optimize energy efficiency and reliability.

• Experience and knowledge in Power Engineering, Power Systems, and Power Generation
• Understanding of Electric Power principles and familiarity with electrical components
• Background in Electrical Engineering related to power operations
• Ability to conduct troubleshooting, inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective team collaboration and communication abilities
• Experience in industrial or power generation environments preferred
