Electrical Engineer

Job Description

• Manages the Electrical, Instrument and Telecom discipline within construction to ensure product quality and timely delivery to commissioning.
• Works closely with electrical design team to document project requirements and develop electrical work plan for electrical system and sub-systems construction, testing and commissioning.
• Studies electrical drawings related to cable ladder, cable tray, penetration, system layout drawing, single line drawing and interconnection drawing.
• Involves in electrical hot work fitting, cable termination, cable continuity check, megger test and Atex inspection.
• Creates work package by area or by subsystem.
• Plans resources manpower, materials, facilities and P6 scheduling.
• Gives direction and assigns job to subordinates for job execution.
• Prepares the work condition for subordinate to work eg. Materials, facilities etc.
• Monitors progress in meeting the P6 schedule.
• Applies Plan, Do, Check, Act methodology for all work activities.
• Reports the daily work progress to EPCC.
• Coordinates with Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Engineering.

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering / Marine Engineering or other relevant disciplines.
• Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided).
• Understand construction schedule and analysis of critical path.
• Experience in managing Vendors and Sub-Contractors.
• Able to handle project independently.

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 5.15pm
Friday: 8:00am – 4.30pm
