About our groupEquipment Development Engineering group, EDE in short, is an automated equipment development team that design and develop high precision automated machines that incorporate vision guidance capabilities and inspection. - Develop control software for precision and high-throughput automated equipment.
- Develop electrical/electronics design for automated machine, creating schematic drawings and BOM creation. OR develop mechanical design for automated machine creating mechanical Solid Works CAD drawings and BOM creation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system architectures, and implement software solutions.
- Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in automation software solutions.
- Perform continuous improvement and enhancement to the existing equipment software toward Smart Autonomous Manufacturing.
- Self-motivated and eagerness to learn more.
- A positive mindset with a can-do attitude to challenge the impossible.
- A good team player with the ability to work independently.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Interest in the practical application of electrical/electronic devices and programming
- Able to commit full time internship (May/Aug to Dec)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent disciplines.
- C# and/or C++ OOP and multi-threading PC based software programming.
- Experience in electrical design for machine automation in Class
100 cleanroom environment will be very much preferred though not compulsory. - Knowledge and/or experience in Ethercat fieldbus, Solid Works 3D and control automation will be an added advantage
Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
